Paddle tennis has a variety of similarities with garden tennis. One exception is the scale of the courtroom in paddle tennis is smaller than the lawn tennis dimensions and it is not divided into lanes for doubles. Whereas the tennis racket makes use of strings, paddle tennis uses a strong picket paddle with perforations. Because the courtroom is smaller, paddle tennis entails player agility and quicker reflexes. The next paragraphs focus on the difference between the rules of both games.
